The Called-Out Woman does not merely go through challenges—she grows through them. Every trial is an opportunity to rise higher, to push forward, and to overcome. She does not stop. She does not crumble under pressure. Though she may weep or feel low at times, she rises—time and time again—to face the storm. When fierce waves approach, she moves with wisdom, navigating them with calculated strength to maintain her stability.
Her foundation is firm because God is her anchor. Having done all, she still stands. Along her journey, she collects wisdom from every experience, allowing her mind to remain steadfast. She embraces each situation with humility, trusting that God is sovereign, that He is mighty, and that He has her back. She demonstrates this trust through obedience, knowing that in the end, it will pay off.
The Called-Out Woman is bold in her decisions, willingly stepping into the refining process, believing that her sacrifices and choices will lead to the best outcomes—not just for herself, but for others.
Two women in the Bible exemplify this journey of growth: Lady Ruth and Lady Esther. These women began their journeys as young, vulnerable individuals facing unfortunate circumstances. Yet, their quiet strength and remarkable obedience to godly mentorship set them apart. They did not allow their circumstances to define them. Instead, through selflessness and faith, they grew into powerful women of purpose.
Esther: Growth Through Faith and Courage
Esther was just a young girl when she lost her parents. As an orphan, she could have easily strayed, but she embraced the mentorship of her uncle, Mordecai, whom God used powerfully in her life. It was Mordecai who encouraged Esther to participate in the royal selection process. She obeyed, and God granted her favour—she was chosen as queen.
When the time came for Esther to take a stand for her people, she hesitated at first. But Mordecai’s words stirred her faith. Rather than shrink back in fear, she stepped forward in obedience. She gathered her women and called for a fast, uniting the Jews in intercession. With a heart full of resolve, she declared, “If I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16).
That unwavering faith was the fertile ground in which her growth flourished. Esther believed that her fasting, prayers, and obedience would yield divine intervention. She understood the gravity of approaching the king uninvited—it could cost her life. Yet, when she stepped forward in boldness, God made an exception for His daughter. She witnessed firsthand His power to turn situations around.
Ruth: Growth Through Selflessness and Humility
Ruth is a beautiful example of resilience and selfless love. She lost her husband at an early age, yet instead of focusing on her own grief, she chose to serve. She filled the void of her loss with a greater purpose—caring for her mother-in-law, Naomi.
Her loyalty and compassion were evident in her words:
“Do not urge me to leave you or to turn from following you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD punish me, and ever so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.”
— Ruth 1:16-17
This was not just a statement—it was a covenant. Ruth’s decision was immovable. She remained steadfast, following Naomi’s guidance even when it required humility and patience. When Naomi instructed her on how to approach Boaz, Ruth maturely and wisely handled the situation.
Her obedience positioned her for honour. She was grafted into the lineage of Christ, becoming one of the key women in biblical history.
The Called-Out Woman: A Journey of Transformation
Like Esther and Ruth, the Called-Out Woman embraces growth. She does not allow pain or adversity to paralyse her. Instead, she uses every challenge as a stepping stone toward becoming the woman God has called her to be.
She moves in faith. She submits to wise counsel. She obeys God’s direction. She stands firm in confidence.
Through every trial, she emerges stronger, wiser, and more refined. She is The Called-Out Woman.
