Protecting your heart

"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life."

- Proverbs 4:23

Does it ever feel like your life has become a puzzle of pieces that don’t quite form the picture you hoped for?

Life can be unpredictable, and even as believers, we are not spared from challenges. But here’s the difference — we are not hopeless, because we are in Christ. We have an anchor that steadies our souls, as Hebrews 6:19 reminds us:

 “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”

We guard our hearts by staying rooted in the Word, being intentional about what we allow into our minds, and seeking wisdom and strength from God through prayer.

This morning, I want to remind you to hold tightly to God’s Word. You may not know who this message is for, but someone needs to be reminded of God’s goodness — of the times He came through, of His mercy, His faithfulness, and His interventions, both in Scripture and in your own life.

Sometimes, the journey feels hard — even unbearable — but hold on, Lady. Hold on actively, not passively. Activate your faith. Walk in patience. Speak His Word over every situation with calm confidence.

He who has called you is able. He is powerful, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He often works in ways that are spectacular, and though His timing may not always align with ours, He is never late.

So trust Him, and trust the process. He alone knows the future and arranges every detail of your life with precision. Even while you wait, He sustains you until that moment of divine intervention.

Do not let fear, worry, or anxiety take root in your heart. That situation hasn’t come to stay — it will pass.

And as you wait, rekindle your excitement about life. You are a Called-Out Woman — one who knows that God is within her.

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at the break of day.”

— Psalm 46:5

Let those words stay with you today.
