The Final Word: Protection and Obedience

But before you close this page, I need to speak directly to something that may be holding you back. You may feel unqualified. You may wonder if you're ready, if you have enough, if you're experienced enough, connected enough, polished enough.


Stop there.


He who has placed that dream, that vision, that assignment in your heart is faithful to provide everything you need. The resources. The wisdom. The direction. The connections. The timing. All of it. Not because you deserve it or earned it, but because you are called, and He is faithful.


Your job is not to qualify yourself. Your job is to protect the calling. To hold it close. To refuse to cast pearls before swine. To keep it safe from the noise, the gossip, the whispered war, the people who would diminish it because they don't understand it.


Because the moment you protect that vision like it belongs to Him and not to the room's approval, God knows He can trust you with more. Protection is obedience. And obedience to God must override fear of man, every single time.


So focus entirely on yourself and your calling. Hold it dear to your heart. Protect it with all your might. Because that calling is not unto man. It is unto God. The fulfilment of it belongs to Him alone.


Ask for grace. Ask for resilience. Ask for strength and the ability to withstand and lessen the noise around you. Stand firm. Be obedient. And before you realize it, what was whispered against will be golden in your hands. The gossips, the doubters, everyone will have no choice but to learn from you.


Because a life lived in obedience to God is a sermon no one can argue with.


The world is waiting for the woman you were called to be.


A Moment With Yourself: The Called-Out Reflection


Before you close this page, sit with these questions. Grab a pen. Answer honestly, not the way you'd answer in front of people.


  1. Name the pit. Where in your life do you feel most misunderstood right now, by family, by friends, by your own inner circle? Write down exactly who and what, without softening it.


  1. Check the temptation. Of the two responses, bitterness or proving yourself, which one have you been leaning toward lately? Be specific about how it's shown up this week.


  1. Find your Ruth moment. Where is God asking you to stay faithful right now with no guarantee attached, no applause, no visible reward? Name one act of quiet loyalty you can choose this week, even though no one may notice it yet.


  1. Write your own signature line. David waited. Joseph forgave. Ruth honoured. Hannah prayed. If your life could preach one sentence before your lips ever spoke, what would that sentence say about you? Write it down. Then go live it this week.


  1. Check your own whisper. Have you been part of the whispered war against another woman? Where, and whose calling have you endangered by speaking what you weren't sure of? What will you do differently this week?


Keep what you've written. Come back to it in thirty days and see how much of it has already started becoming true.
