Separated for Significance- The Purpose of Being Called-Out

Updated: 2 days ago

I have learned that the quiet seasons are never punishment; they are preparation. Heaven shapes a woman in silence before it entrusts her with sound. Sometimes God pulls her back, not to hide her, but to hone her — to refine her sight, her voice, and her discernment.

To be called out is not to be elevated above others; it is to be entrusted with more. Separation is not simply about excelling; it is about becoming available for God’s work on earth — in the home, the workplace, and beyond.

What feels like withdrawal is often divine positioning. Acts 13:2 records, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” Separation always precedes sending. Before God commissions publicly, He consecrates privately. The same Spirit still whispers today: “Come apart, that I may prepare you.”

Every true calling begins with a renewed mind. Romans 12:2 urges, “Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Renewal shifts ambition into assignment and turns pursuit into purpose.

Consecration is more than leaving something behind; it is yielding wholly to Someone. It means allowing God to choose your company, shape your appetite, and order your priorities. Through consecration, He detoxes motives, disciplines desires, and fills again with fresh fire.

Before Moses confronted Pharaoh, he met God at the burning bush; his wilderness became his womb of wisdom. Before Esther stood before the king, she spent twelve months in purification; her consecration polished her influence. Both were hidden before they were heralded.

Second Timothy 2:21 reminds us, “If a person therefore purge themselves from these, they shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use.” To stay useful, she must stay yielded. Her boundaries are not pride; they are preservation.

When the Spirit says, “Come up higher,” it is an invitation to see from His perspective. Revelation 4:1 speaks of a door opened in heaven and a voice saying, “Come up hither.” The called-out woman responds to that call. She exchanges noise for nearness, hurry for holiness, and comfort for communion.

In every season, God is not pushing her away but drawing her closer — closer to hear, to discern, to govern, and to love.

To be called out is to host God’s presence wherever you go — to carry peace into your home, excellence into your work, and compassion into the world. Separation is not about being different; it is about being effective. It is God’s way of raising women who influence from the inside out.

If He is calling you aside, answer; He is simply saying, “Come up higher.”

Always Remember:

I love you all — but remember, God absolutely dotes on you. 💖
