The Called-Out Woman grows through dark tunnels. She doesn’t just go through uncomfortable or unfortunate situations—she grows through them. Every challenge presents an opportunity to raise her bar, to push through, and to leap over every hurdle. She does not quit. She does not crumble under pressure.
She may cry. She may feel low at times. But she rises—again and again- to confront the storms. When the fierce waves approach, she jumps calculatedly, ensuring her stability through it all. God is her firm foundation. Having done all, she still stands.
She gathers life lessons like treasures along the way—holding on to what God is teaching her as she journeys toward her divine destination. She embraces the process with humility, anchoring her trust in the Lord. She knows how big and mighty He is. She knows that her God has her back.
Her obedience is her proof—proof that she believes in God’s outcome even when the way isn’t clear. The Called-Out Woman is bold. She throws herself into purpose, trusting that her sacrifice and decisions will yield fruit—not just for herself, but for others.
Two women in Scripture exemplify this type of growth: Lady Ruth and Lady Esther. Both began as young women thrust into unfortunate circumstances. Yet, their quiet disposition and unwavering obedience to their mentors marked the beginning of something powerful.
Queen Esther – Obedience and Courage
Esther was orphaned at a young age. Without parents or guidance, she could have gone astray—but she chose obedience. She accepted mentorship from her cousin Mordecai, who God used remarkably in her life. Under his instruction, Esther took part in a royal beauty contest. Her obedience opened the door, and God gave her favour. Among many, she was chosen. She became Queen.
Later, when Mordecai urged her to speak to the king on behalf of the Jews, Esther was initially hesitant. But Mordecai’s firm words stirred her resolve. She called for a fast—three days of prayer and consecration. And then she made that bold, unforgettable statement:
“If I perish, I perish.”
That level of faith, that unwavering conviction, is what growth looks like.
She knew the law—approaching the king uninvited could cost her life. Yet, her faith in God’s ability to turn situations around gave her strength. In the end, the sceptre was extended, the Jews were preserved, and Esther could rest in the confidence that God makes exceptions for His daughters.
Lady Ruth – Selflessness and Resilience
Ruth, too, was a woman of exceptional character. Likely widowed at a young age—without children to her name—she embraced her sorrow with resilience. Instead of turning inward, she looked outward. She poured herself into caring for her mother-in-law, Naomi, who was also grieving.
This is where Ruth’s growth is revealed—not in a moment of triumph, but in a season of quiet sacrifice. Her words to Naomi remain some of the most moving in Scripture:
“Do not urge me to leave you or to turn from following you.
Wherever you go, I will go.
Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.
Where you die, I will die—and there I will be buried.”
— Ruth 1:16–17
She was resolute. That conversation marked a turning point. Her decision was firm, immovable.
Later, Ruth submitted fully to Naomi’s instructions concerning Boaz. Her behaviour was noble, wise, and honourable. Her character made room for her. Eventually, Ruth became part of the lineage that led to Jesus Christ Himself.
The Pattern of Growth
The Called-Out Woman embodies the same spirit—obedience in difficulty, resilience in grief, faith in uncertainty. She is shaped in the dark but destined for light. She listens. She learns. She grows.
She is not defined by what she goes through—but by who she becomes in the process.
Always Remember:
I love you all — but remember, God absolutely dotes on you. 💖
